Guyana's Flood Control Problems!

April 26-2010:

Guyana's Flood Control Problems!

The most realistic thing for the Guyana Government to contemplate, is the Re-locating of the Capital City-Georgetown-Demerara, to a much further INLAND Location.

This Project should be given to someone with Credible Architectural Qualifications and Background in City Planning/Zoning too, and knows his/her stuff.

After which a Visible Draft of the project is then circulated via the local media for public display and comments, before implementation.

Because our Seashore is way below sea level, and another Major Flood may be just years or decades away. And who knows how many more lives, property, and livestock will be lost?

Derryck.
